Hi, I’m Chantel.
Believe it or not, Hey Suga wasn’t something I planned. It actually started by accident!
A few years ago, my husband was away at military training, and my son was spending the summer with my family in Michigan. For the first time in a long time, I found myself alone with a lot of quiet time. To keep myself busy, I started playing with my mom’s cookie recipe. What began as a way to pass the time quickly became something I genuinely fell in love with.
Before I knew it, friends and family were asking to buy what I was making. One order turned into another, and before I realized it, Hey Suga was born.
But this business became so much more than cookies.
Growing up, there were so many experiences I wished I could have had. Now, as a wife and mom, one of my biggest goals is to create those moments for my own family. Whether it’s taking a trip, celebrating life’s milestones, or simply spending quality time together, that’s the life we’re building. Hey Suga has become part of that dream.
Every cookie I bake, every cinnamon roll I frost, and every order I package is made with gratitude because I know you’re doing the same thing I am: celebrating birthdays, milestones, new babies, promotions, holidays, or simply making an ordinary day a little sweeter.
When you support Hey Suga, you’re supporting more than a small business. You’re supporting a family’s dream, and you’re allowing me to do something I truly love while helping create sweet memories for yours.
Thank you for being here and for trusting me to be a small part of your celebrations. I can’t wait to bake something special for you!
